Student Affiliate
View Membership Benefits
Student Affiliate membership is available to undergraduate and graduate engineering students who are active student members of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and recognized technical societies.
Applicants holding EI or FE certification may also qualify. This category is intended for emerging professionals seeking exposure to the building inspection and design profession through education, conferences, and professional engagement.
Student Affiliates may:
- Attend conferences and educational events
- Receive Association documents and communications
- Participate in professional networking opportunities
Student Affiliates are not voting members and may not represent themselves as holding full membership within the Association.

Executive Member
View Membership Benefits
Executive Membership is available to licensed Professional Engineers holding membership in NSPE, or registered Architects with membership in AIA, who have demonstrated skill and experience in building inspection or design engineering.
Applicants must provide:
- A minimum of 20 relevant projects
- At least 5 comprehensive inspection reports, building designs, or major building systems inspections/designs/restoration projects
- Documentation satisfactory to the Admissions Committee
Executive Members are full voting members and receive access to conferences, professional resources, and Association communications.
$250 Annually

Diplomat Member

Diplomat Membership recognizes long-standing Executive Members who have demonstrated continued commitment to the Association and the profession.
Applicants must:
- Be Executive Members in good standing for at least 15 years
- Contribute to the advancement of the Association
- Present at Association or NSPE conferences, or publish within Association or NSPE forums
- Be nominated by the Board of Directors
Diplomat Members are full voting members and are recognized for their leadership, service, and professional contribution to the industry.

Corporate Affiliate membership is available to professionals and organizations associated with the design, construction, inspection, and furnishing of materials or services related to building inspection, design engineering, or construction.
